Sharp/smart and comfy

Obliged to tradition but with an open eye towards the future. The pleasant design of the roomy arranged sale rooms reflects the credo of Pur Südtirol. It was inspired by old “Harassen” (old fruit and vegetables crates made of apple tree wood) which led to the invention by young internationally active Harry Thaler, a designer from Merano, of a modular presentation system made out of wooden crates on wheels, which underlines the origin and value of the offered products, while in contrast delicate hand-turned lamps are thus highlighted, which lampshades are differently coloured and thus throw a mild and soft light on the products. Weaved baskets tempt you into buying the products, weaving that thanks to its grace and functionality brings this ancient art back to life. The furniture is mostly made of local chestnut (wood) and local material was used for all the presentation systems and decorations. The eccentric pub, as well as the traditional, quaint Stube, show traces of solid-modernity thanks to the space and light which the author used to bring it into the present time.
